Where is bonfire in stormwind

Comment by Thottbot I can't seem to find the fire in Darnassus. I don't see a bonfire anywhere:. Comment by Thottbot flame of darnassus is in rut'theran village. Comment by Thottbot I just spent hours getting all the flames in alliance cities me being horde and when i tried to get the quests given by the flames it sadi I was too low Im a lvl 29 paladin Does anyone know the minimum lvl for this or can someone tell me what lvl they got it at?

I got into Stormwind - clicked on the fire, but nothing happened. I didn't see any Npc that was offering quests either? Edit: Just click the fire to "steal" the flame - then check your inventory. Comment by Thottbot Where's the one in Azshara? Comment by Thottbot Where is the one in Darkshore?

Comment by Thottbot The fire in Darkshore is around 41, Comment by Thottbot Lost in Azshara, anyone know were that fire is? Comment by Thottbot For the lower-level set of quests, you end up with a food-related buff, which is not bad considering the cost but does not persist through death, so it's sort of OK but not wonderful.

The Fiery Festival Brew is amusing but only for awhile I think the best buff is the Fire Festival Fury, which increases critical strike rating and spell critical strike rating for 1 hour.

It also does not persist thorugh death and you need to go to Fire Festival fire to activate it. But the difference is noticeable. The best thing of all is simply that you pick up a bunch of new flightpaths and some discovery XP. You can do this while you're on the phone. Comment by Thottbot the coords for Darn is 56, 92 in Rut'theran Village. Comment by Thottbot do you earn any reputation by doing this?

Comment by Thottbot The festival must be over. I went to the coords for Darn and the fire isn't there. I can stand at a spot near the end of the walkway to the FP and catch on fire, but there is no flame. Anyone else have this problem?

Comment by Thottbot Funny I submitted screen shots of all locations except for the ones in instances and still they have not been added to the threads of the appropriate quests.

Comment by Allakhazam The one in darnassus is between the flightmaster and the portal that gets you into the city. The one in darnassus is next to the entrance to the stockades. The one in ironforge is in the hall of explorers xp at The rewards are fun though, one gives you flaming breath and the other you can throw into the bonfires to make them go up like you just dumped a can of petrol in there.

Thanks :. Comment by Allakhazam Though this quest says lvl 60, it's actually for any lvl. Gives decent XP for low-lvl chars, nice rewards. I'm sure that most of you are now familiar with realm hopping, so just realm hop on any open group using "Cross Realm Assist" or ''RealmHop". Once you are in the group, right click on your portrait and select " View Leader's Garrison ".

Don't forget you need to be inside your Garrison to be able to use this function! You will then be transfered into his garrison where you might try your luck and search for this follower. If you dont find him anywhere, just go back to your own garrison and hop into another group. I hope this helps abit and good luck! Comment by norecha If you know someone who has it and they happen to be on opposite faction, you can just create a class trial and jump to their garrison to get it. I just got it like that.

Item Level 1 Binds when picked up Unique Toy. Use: Offers respite from the darkness. Stormwind was easy when I took the tram. Stormwind you should navigate via the waterway.

You shouldn't have too much trouble, plus you can sneak right up and out of sight of the majority of players who are guarding it. I just went from the tram to the nearest water and swam the whole way popping up and taking that flag. Ironforge is straight forward, run and die. It took a lot of times dying to do that. Eventually you get there. I would take the tram and save a lot of deaths that way.

There is one or two patrolling guards. They seem to both leave at the same time so it is easy to time it. Darnassus is hard to tell. Sneaking played a big roll in me figuring it out. I snuck on the boat, and then snuck up to the fire. It's outside the town so it should be easy to get to. Hiding beneath the bridge is advisable, but make sure there are no guards walking on it first.

Last thing to be noted is that I got exp from each flame I turned in and then another exp from getting the crown. A nice 20k exp benefit is a fairly good motivator for most people. I hope this saves a few people some trouble. Good Luck to you all.

Drajoc 55 Druid Sentinals. Comment by Don't forget once you looted the flame, "Flame of stormwind" will accuatly be in your bag, instead of just starting a quest like all other small town's flame does.

Comment by Tried to do this with about five lvl 70s and me as a lvl 60 during peak hours. Bad choice. It was fun in a morbid way - if you don't mind running across Elwyn Forest every time you die - but it didn't get us any closer to getting the flame, and we just gave up because people were camping at our corpses.

Lessons learned? If you want to get the Stormwind Flame or two of the other three flames that aren't as easy to get as Darnassus , then 1 don't go in a group or attack anything - you'll just attract attention - and 2 go late at night when everyone's asleep and pretty much all that stands between you and the bonfire are some NPCs.

You may have to do a little body hopping and of course a PvP player or two may try to genk you, but after you first run back from the graveyard, they'll have had to wait around bored as hell for five or six minutes and just give up.

I was able to get the flame after only one death. As for the other cities, Darnassus is easy if you swim up to the shore from the right direction, stealthed or unstealthed - you can make a clean getaway. Ironforge and Exodar are also difficult, but the above advice is the same for them.

Thankfully, neither are as quite as popular as Stormwind, so even during peak server times, it's possible to run in with less trouble - possible but not probable.

Comment by Esselte If you run into overwhelming odds, ducking into the Stockade can save you a hike back. Of course, they may still be waiting there when you come back out It's driving me crazy! I rightclick and get "opening", when it's finished I take some small fire dmg but I don't get the damn flame!

Of course, if you're a paladin you can simply run in, bubble, and grab it, but you still have to fight your way out! Comment by Stormwind was, after Ironforge a bit easier. Were in IF I just died 20 times, in SW i did went through the front gate and with my lovely pally bubble made in to the moat in 2 dies. After that it was easy, just swim to the magic quarter, and walk up the stairs, then over the brigde. There's only 1 gaurd who will leave combat when you're near the flame.

Its around Comment by LeviGratton Anyone know a good place for a warlock to open a summoning portal near the flame? Comment by A tip for the stealthy kind.

This is coming in from the Tram from IF and a Rogue As soon as you get out of the tram and you have your stealth on, hit Sprint and head to the left of the entrance until you hit the water. Jump in the water after making sure you are still unseen and dive deep until you hit the floor. Then swim all the way over to the stockades while stealthed, while it is slower it is also very risk-free as I am sure not a whole lot of people are a in the water at SW and b actively looking for sneaks.
